How to File a Health Insurance Claim for Reimbursement?
To claim your medical expenses on a reimbursement basis, pay the hospital bills yourself first. Then, submit all required documents—like bills, reports, and claim form—to the insurance company. The insurer will verify and transfer the approved amount to your bank account.
Download the claim form from your insurer’s website or use their online portal if available.
Collect all original medical reports, investigation results, prescriptions, and bills related to your treatment.
Complete Part A yourself. Part B must be filled, signed, and stamped by the hospital.
Send the original documents by post or upload them to the insurer’s portal. Wait for the insurer to review and process your reimbursement.
How to make a claim if you have a term insurance policy?
